Rummy at Koshy’s cafe
Koshy is a colonial cafe (and a fine dining space — not covered here) at St.Marks Road (where it meets Church Street). It is a decent cafe — with Indo-British menu, with a varying price range on its menu — from Rs. 100/- large rum peg to Rs. 500/- dishes.
I ordered an Old Monk large peg with warm water for a Rs.100/- and with vegetable cutlet and channa masala. Your date could comfortably order a chai here. Such a fine way for a gentlemen’s bar to blend with a lady’s tea place — this place is loved by many old timers.
